Wolverhampton Logistics Centre
A state-of-the-art steel logistics hub with capacity for more than five trains per day, each carrying up to 1,300 tonnes. Strategically located within 15 miles of the core customer base, the terminal enables rapid call-off and same-day or next-day delivery.
The facility includes two high-specification warehouses:
- 6,500 m² facility storing up to 1,700 steel coils
- 5,000 m² facility storing up to 1,400 steel coils
- Combined annual throughput capacity of approximately 950kt
- Two dedicated outdoor storage plots (1 acre each)
Cricklewood – The UK’s First Net Zero Rail Freight Terminal
Cricklewood has been transformed into the UK’s first net zero rail freight terminal, setting a new benchmark for sustainable rail logistics. Handling approximately 250,000 tonnes of spoil annually and avoiding around 12,500 HGV journeys each year, the terminal supports London’s construction sector while minimising environmental impact.
The site also features one of Europe’s largest green acoustic barriers, comprising more than 3,500 m² of native foliage and delivering natural carbon sequestration of approximately 10–12 tCO₂e per year. Together, these measures demonstrate how operational performance and environmental leadership can be achieved in parallel, creating a model for future rail freight terminals.
