Andrea Rossi became CEO of DB Cargo UK in September 2020. Andrea became a member of the UK Board in 2013 when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer at DB Cargo UK.
He previously spent nine years fulfilling various roles within audit, planning and reporting at Deutsche Bahn AG in Germany.
Roger Neary became a member of the UK Board when he was appointed Head of Sales in 2018 after a 25-year career in rail freight with DB Cargo UK and its predecessor companies DB Schenker, EWS and British Rail.
Laura Clarke joined the UK Board as Director of Human Resources in January 2024.
Laura has a proven track record of delivering successful change management, organisational design and business transformation in large, complex organisations, as well as providing strategic and operational guidance on all areas of people strategy.
Deb became CFO in January 2021 and brings with her more than two decades of experience in managing finance, IT and procurement within the transport and logistics sector.
Prior to joining DB Cargo UK she was Finance Director at the successful family-run logistics and warehousing company, Moran Logistics. Before that she fulfilled a number of senior management roles with Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd and the Japanese global freight operator, NYK Logistics, culminating in her appointment as UK Finance Director in 2008.
Rohan was appointed Chief Transformation and Digitalisation Officer (CTDO) in July 2023, having joined the company from National Grid.
Rohan’s IT and Transformation teams work with departments across the business to develop and implement plans to make the company more innovative, agile and efficient – a key pillar of DB’s future strategy to improve and grow its business.
Neil Ethell became Chief Operating Officer for DB Cargo UK in November 2021 to drive further improvements in operational performance and customer service.
Previously, Neil was the company's Head of Operations and Service Delivery. He has more than two decades of experience in logistics having joined DB Cargo UK in 2002, and has an in-depth knowledge of rail freight operations, service delivery, asset and resource management.
