As the UK’s largest rail freight company, we operate a wide range of terminals and depots in England, Scotland and Wales, many of which are already utilised by other rail freight and passenger companies.
Here is our Location List for Facility Access and Services updated from 7th April 2024. Please note that this list covers only those Service Facilities which are currently operational. DB Cargo UK has other facilities in its portfolio which are decommissioned as there is no current operational requirement for them. Please contact DB Cargo UK’s Product Manager (Access) for further details or if our operational list does not include a suitable site or for sites which are marked "PLEASE ENQUIRE".
A new simplified rate structure applied with effect from 00:00 am 7th April 2024. Here is the list of DB Cargo UK Access Rates from 00:00am 7th April 2024.
Please note that charges for stabling of rail vehicles will be charged in accordance with our Stabling Policy document which can be found here. Parking of road vehicles will be charged at a rate depending on whether the parking is inside or outside of the M25 (see DB Cargo UK Access Rates from 7th April 2024).
To request short notice (less than two full working days) access to DB Cargo UK’s rail service facilities and rail-related services, you will need to complete the DB Cargo UK Access and Facilities Request Form and email it to the DB Cargo Duty Manager at Productiondutymanager@deutschebahn.com.
To request the short notice hire of DB Assets, hire rates can be found at DB Access - Ancillary Charges from 07 April 2024. You will need to contact the DB Cargo Duty Manager on 01302 575047 who will discuss your requirements and complete the necessary hire forms between the two parties and confirm the purchase order from the hirer.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing with DB Cargo UK, the provisions of access and associated services at DB Cargo UK service facilities shall be subject to the form of contract here, except in relation to the access and associated services at service facilities which are classified as light maintenance depots, which shall be subject to the Depot Access Agreement (and related Depot Access Conditions) maintained by the Office of Rail and Road (and available for download at: https://www.orr.gov.uk/guidance-compliance/rail/operator-access-network/station-and-depot-access/template-documentation).
