DB Cargo UK Toton Traction Maintenance Depot (TMD) in Nottinghamshire is a major "centre of excellence" for rail engineering, serving as a primary hub for locomotive maintenance, fleet upgrades, and international freight preparation. The depot performs heavy maintenance, including fourth-cycle bogie overhauls for the Class 66 fleet and maintenance services for other operators.

Engineering Apprenticeship - Crewe

DB Cargo UK Crewe serves as the primary hub for the maintenance of electric locomotives. It handles scheduled inspections, heavy overhauls, and technical repairs for these vehicles. Beyond standard maintenance, the site is involved in heavy repairs and overhauls for various rolling stock components, supporting the wider UK network alongside other outstations like Stoke.

DB Cargo UK Stoke facility performs crucial wagon modification and final assembly, adapting wagons for new coil/slab transport needs and handles general heavy overhauls, maintenance, and wheel set work. It is a key hub for our UK freight and infrastructure services.
