Doncaster based DB Cargo UK takes Pride to the next level with sponsorship and special liveried loco

The sponsorship is part of a range of activities coordinated by the company’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Council, which was established in 2024.

HR Director Laura Clarke said: “At DB Cargo we are deeply committed to championing our culture of ‘EDI is BAU’ where Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is Business as Usual. Through this, we cultivate a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic self."

During Pride month, the EDI Council gained approval for a special Pride liveried loco, which is almost complete. And in celebration of the group’s Diversity Week in November, the Pride loco 66068 will be officially named and its nameplate revealed.

Colleagues are thrilled to represent DB Cargo UK in the Pride Parade of Unity through Doncaster City Centre to Town Fields on Saturday, August 9th.

They’ll also join in the celebrations as they welcome people to their stall as everyone enjoys the live acts and entertainment, a fun Pride dog show, and much more!
