These Locomotives will be sold as seen and were lying without any warranty, condition or undertaking including (without limitation) as to quality, position in any programme or cycle of maintenance, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in the foregoing limits or excludes any liability which would be unlawful for DB Cargo to limit or exclude (including having title to dispose of the Locomotives).


The successful bidder(s) will be required to remove the Locomotives from site at their own expense and at times to be agreed by DB Cargo.


In addition, DB Cargo have a significant number of spares available which would be offered on the same basis but under a separate agreement.


DB Cargo would be willing to discuss any requirement for ongoing maintenance or reinstatement services as part of a separate discussion and agreement.


Please register your interest for these Locomotives by email by the registration closing date.


To register your interest, please e-mail DBUKLocoSales@deutschebahn.com quoting reference: Class60/0125 in the subject heading. Expressions of interest by any other method or route will not be considered.


The closing date for registrations of interest for these locomotives is noon on Friday 19th April, 2024. Tender documents will be issued shortly after this date.


A reserve price has been set against each Locomotive offered for sale.



All Tenderers will be given the opportunity to undertake inspection of these Locomotives by prior arrangement ONLY.


These Locomotives shall be disposed of in a manner which complies with safety and environmental considerations.


DB Cargo also supports fair competition in railway service markets and will conduct this tender process in an open and non-discriminatory manner.


DB Cargo reserves the right to consider any relevant factors including (but not limited to) tender price, speed of sale/site clearance and payment terms in selecting the successful Tenderer.


Following issue of the formal Sales Acceptance(s) to the successful Tenderer(s), compliance will be rigidly enforced in accordance with the subsequent contract terms agreed (the Contract). Failure to comply with the Contract may lead to DB Cargo either imposing stabling charges or to the cancellation of the sale.


Further details are contained within the Standard Conditions of Sale which shall be issued with the Tender documents and will form the basis of the Contract.


Please note that DB Cargo reserves the right to withdraw in its absolute discretion any / all of these locomotives from sale at any point without liability to any actual or potential bidders.
